Corporations have officially merged with the USA, now openly running the state as opposed to just influencing its policy decisions like they've done for decades. Beneath the streets of this urban hellscape is the Hidden City, a strange mystical underworld where the equally strange and mystical Yokai live and thrive.  The fascists of the Foot Clan seek to undermine this new corporate rule for their own oppressive dictatorship and wipe the Yokai off the face of the planet.
